Made me cry to see his face smile and asking who it was. Told the waitress not to let him know. As he walked he started to cry and let the waitress know it made his year. Im not gloating but I wanted people to know be kind to everyone out there. Just wanted to say that it made my day.

I try to remind myself daily - To do something for another at my expense (time money whatever) without expecting anything in return

Honesty i haven’t felt that emotional since my wifes surgery. I know it was February, but seeing that smile broke me.

I get it - and yes we do.
It really is the cure all. And the service doesn’t have to be military service. Duty and commitment to prioritizing the good of others above selfish yearning plus kindness shall set us free.
And yet we’re still in the midst of an endemic of selfishness it seems.

@Martymcfly2017 , that’s a really good Idea, more people should do that at least once, I think it’s an incredible thing to do, show that you care , no matter their skin color all vets matter.
