If both lions and rams stay healthy

If you’re being honest with yourself, we dont have a snowballs chance in hell to beat the Rams.

When the next draft?

Question for some of you. Are lions still in rebuilding mode?

It’s a matter of how long it takes for the team to gel.

I really don’t see any holes, and, I see great depth, everyplace I look.

The Rams are definitely a great team, but, Garrett isn’t the difference. I’m not saying he’s not great, or, that he’s not a step up. He’s just not that big of a step up. Not worth what they paid.

If we’ve learned anything, it should be that consistency in depth is necessary to go the long haul, and, when you spend like that on a flash piece, you lose depth. Remember how Parsons guaranteed Green Bay a Super Bowl? How’d that work out?

It’s going to be a fun season, and, I believe this could be our time.

Hes the best player in the game. Not just the best edge , but best in the game. Lions have talent. Lions also have holes. Oline is still a big question mark. Dline might be a little better. Lb aren’t better. Db has depth but missing the top two safeties in the leauge. Key word depth. It only can get you so far.

I don’t believe in hype.

I believe in Grit.

Green Bay is the first they talk about. “Their playoff hopes ended when Parsons went down.”

If we could go back in time.. there would be many people on this board claiming.. “The Packers signing Reggie White is going to backfire. He is nowhere near the money he is being paid. So glad the lions didn’t cash that check.”

On June 2, the Rams look better on paper.

Stay tuned.

I mean they were better on paper before June 1st. They took care of their weakness

Neither team will stay healthy. It’s football. At least 30 percent of both rosters are getting hurt. The key is who? For long? And how good is your depth. These 17 games seasons, and hopefully more like 20 games for the Lions are a real marathon.

Parsons is overrated.

No. They been done rebuilding. The days of Decker, Ragnow, GG, elite OL, AA, Monty, and others are over. They rebuilt, and now they’re in a semi rebuild mode again. They’re re-tooling.

This is a tough one for me. I don’t think rebuilding is the right term for where were at. Looking at Branch/Kerby injuries it has me worried that we are on the wrong side of things right now. I think we have our core players but we still need more talent. Though that can honestly be said for everyone. I would like to see us do a couple moves more on our Defense, especially in our secondary.

Then get rid of some of those picks.

Yeah that has me concerned as well

The Rams are better. But if you told me right now that we would be in the divisional round vs them to get to the NFC championship I would take it in a heartbeat. Any given Sunday anyone can win. And in this case we would be talking about team #1 vs team ~#4…if that isn’t considered a winnable game than why do they even play? Just crown the Rams right now.
