Who do you got
I think both could win it all this year
Gun to my head I’d pick the Rams at this moment, depends on how healthy is healthy for each. There will be some attrition for both. But the Lions are not chumps. They are loaded with talent too.
I think the Lions have too many question marks. This is not 2024 unfortunately.
Today, it’s the Rams. If our o-line can gel, and by playoff time Miller isn’t looking like a rookie RT, our offense should be virtually unstoppable. If Moore can be even a decent disruptor we can pressure Stafford with more than just Hutch. I know, I know…a lot of “ifs”. I’m a lifelong Lions fan. My whole experience with this franchise has been a lifetime of “ifs”. Our offense is better than theirs. Their D looks much better than ours right now.
Just a warning here. I’m going on a I told you so tour when the Lions inevitably open a can of whoop ass on the league during their upcoming revenge tour.
I mean they can. So I guess its up to them
If the Lions don’t win it this year, it’s the 90s again
They need to win it for Campbell to not be Fontes pt deux
I think this is the correct take, unfortunately. This fanbase is a little too warm on our roster and coaching staff outside MCDC.
Agreed. I rhink we finish over 500 but not enough to win the division
Healthy is a very loose term for the Lions this year.
Does that mean Branch and Joseph are back to pre injury form? LaPorta as well? What about Alim McNeil?
That is four legit pro bowl/all pro type players that have lingering injury concerns.
if your telling me they are all back to form, give me the Lions, if not I’ll take the Rams.
The Rams probably aren’t done. When they go in, they go in.
They are thin at WR yet. Wouldn’t be shocked to see one of the vets hanging out at WR yet go ring chasing. A few intriguing options.
Keenan Allen
Stefon Diggs
Tyreek Hill
Deebo Samuel
McVay is probably wearing a speedo in a hottub with George Pickens and Jonathon Taylor at this very moment. Drinks are flowing.
Top to bottom, the Lions have a better roster IMO… Stafford is the difference IMO, if he’s on, they’re almost unbeatable. Would love to see them both healthy in the NFCCG
The RAMS are loaded. This is like when the Packer were getting Reggie White imo. Myles Garrett is probably the best player in the NFL. Unbelievable. Jarod Verse must be so pissed off.
I’m not that worried.
Every team has 20-30% turnover every year. Each team has plenty of question marks.
We have enough talent to overcome our weaknesses and none of our weaknesses are as glaring as years past.
No way lions have a better defense.
Stafford is better then goff
Oline for lions is a question mark
Lions have better wr
Rb ranked gibbs, Williams, Blake, Issac so thats even.
Te ill take the lions
This is why I’m worried:
On offense, we lost decker and Glasgow, and replaced them with Cade and Miller. Hopefully they will be better but there are no guarantees here. Im not concerned with Penei moving to left he will be fine, but we also have no idea if left guard will be any good. Again a lot of hoping and ifs. Also we lost Monty, who at times was very important when Gibbs couldnt get it going last year. I dont think Pachecko is at Montys level. Is Laporta even going to be OK?
I don’t have the words to express how much i love this team for many decades, but in what universe can anyone think the Lions are better or tied, or close to tied? Especially after acquiring Myles Garrett? I love the Lions but c’mon!
Rams were a championship caliber team last season.
The Lions missed the playoffs and were last in the division.
Rams have proven players starting with the league MVP and the defensive MVP, and a player (Puka) just short of Offensive player MVP. And added McDuffie.
Lions “hope” to have a better OL. That’s it. That’s the hopeful improvement. Hutch is one of the best, and Jack is one of the best, but no Kerby and no Branch, and Alim has to prove he can get back to what he was and what he was. Everyone else ???.
I hope the Lions go undefeated and win the SB. But let’s be real.
I also want to note something: Lions already had an elite OL. That wasn’t enough. Now maybe just maybe their OL is improved from last years below average unit. Then what? They can’t even stop the run anymore. Until this defense is good they won’t win. Rams defense was great last season. They went from great to amazing adding the CB’s. Adding Garrett they are now top tier and that defense can win it all.
