I wasn’t just talking about highlights.
Almost every time I saw Notre Dame play a single high safety, Hamilton was the robber. He may have started deep to disguise the coverage, but often most forward at the snap.
Also… think about your response.
If I only watched his highlights… and came away with the impression that he doesn’t play deep safety much at all…. but tou watched the whole game film and saw him playing deep “a lot”….
wouldn’t the lack of plays on the highlight reel from a deep position be a concern about his ability to make an impact in a 2 high scheme???
