I don’t remember exactly what I said the first time it was brought up, but something about actually liking it a lot more than most. It was a drama wrapped inside a football movie. Certainly not a lot of realism in certain parts, but if you turn your brain off for a couple hours it’s a decent enough story.
Meanwhile, some consider it the worst sports movie of all time so what do I know?
As absurd as it could be, it wasn’t even in the top 10 of bad sports movies.

I was thinking about watching the pancake eating MFr/Putney scene a couple of times…but that’s about it.
It’s actually a really nice day and I’m going to go and ride my horse over at a different stable, I’m actually getting ready to walk out the door to hook up the trailer and load the horses up to keep my mind busy.

Costner, JGarn, Langella, Boseman, SAM ELLIOTT, P-Diddy, and the incomparable Terry Crews, and that was the movie they made? Damn.

When I watched the movie back when it came out, I thought Vontae Mack was loosely based on Khalil Mack.

What makes it all the more believable is that all the right moves are done by the Browns.
Enjoy watching this movie every year. But Dennis Leary as a Head NFL coach maybe the worst casting coach in a movie…ever. And i like Leary.
