In Tampa do I go to the game?

I’m currently living in Alaska and flying down to Tampa for the week to look at future homes. Retiring from military soon after 26 yrs!

My dilemma is to go to the game or not…am I cursed??? I’ve been to 8 Lions away games (I hope to go to an home game some day) and I’m 1-7 when attending and current 7 game loss streak.

2004 Lions @ Giants 28-13 Win
Great game! Harrington got the dub. The Giants fans were so pissed and after the game strutting in my Lions jersey and everyone talking shit lol was :sunglasses:

Went down hill from there…best bud is. Vikings fan so always visited to watch the Lions. 7 straight loses I attended.

2008 Loss 12-10
Orlovsky ran out of the back of the end zone and PI at the end of the game

2009 Loss 27-10
Don’t remember anything crazy other than us getting are azz kicked.

2012 Loss 34-24
We were 4-4 and this was the first loss of 8 in row to finish 4-12. It was a crazy 4Q with 32 pts scored. We lost to Christian fn Ponder!

2013 Loss 14-13
We choked in 4Q. This was the last game in the metrodome.

2015 Loss 28-16
Staffird absolutely got destroyed that game. Was cool outdoors game. They were playing at the Gophers stadium.

2019 Loss 20-7
Buddy got us field passes before the game…was pretty awesome. Bough at QB for injured Stanford. Was a tough game to watch.

2022 Loss 28-24
I thought last year was the year. :man_facepalming:t2:

Am I cursed or just banned from all future Lions @ Vikings games?!? :joy:

Never pass up an opportunity to see your team play live! I do not believe in curses or anything so if you have the means to go do it…nothing worse then living with regret!

Might as well go. I have this game as an L already.

Maybe your good vibes and bad luck could double negative the entire thing and make us win

If you got the time and can get tickets I would go.

Good for you. We’re headed to Tampa for Thanksgiving. Love that area.

I’d like to retire down there, but I’ve got several more years to go.

First off, thank you for your service. In which can never be said enough.

Secondly, Alaska to Tampa… nothing is the same, nothing. Must have Michigan roots some where, or just a sick father.

I live in Sarasota. Been to a couple of games there and a couple of bowl games. Raymond James is fun. My advice though is to make sure you don’t get seats on the sun side of the stadium.

@BigNatty is in Orlando, right?

I had to read that a couple times before it dawned on me that you probably meant “My business partner’s wife”.

The alternative is that your adulterous gay lover is still married and his wife is selling her home.

Screw you stay home we don’t need your bad ju ju!!!

Just kidding … go to the game those were the SOL not the BNL. Time to start a future win streak where you will have to go to all the remaining away games

With that said … Alaska is better than Florida stay there….lol

And … thanks for your service!

What you didn’t realize is that your left sock needs to be higher than your right sock or else the Lions lose.

Every single gig I ever did was with one blue sock and one black sock and I signed the ASL alphabet to my buddy across the stage in the wings 5 min before curtain up.

Always forget there’s a few other people down here in Florida. I’m like 2 hours north of Tampa in good old rural Florida(Morriston)
