I get what they saw. Tabor had similar speed to Josh Gordon coming out of college. Tabor has ball skills, but he just doesnt have the speed or the ability to keep up with guys. The secret is out. Put a speed receiver on him, and its 100% completion odds.
Quinn even admitted he agonized over the Tabor pick, scouted him harder than anyone else. I think Quinn had one of those gut feeling vs brain opinion, and he trusted his gut and missed. The smart and right thing to do is admit a mistake and move on from it. His other picks have been hitting, so its not a lost cause.
I assume that you mean similar speed to Josh Norman? Gordon was a 4.4 guy coming out.
