Lions really need to hope the Ravens/Steelers/Commanders can hand the Eagles a loss or two. The Lions can’t keep patching the defense MASH unit together and expect to win games… They’ll likely drop a game or two before the end of the season.

Injuries are a concern for a playoff run for every team, every year. This is why I stressed how difficult winning a Super Bowl is at the trade deadline. It requires more luck than anyone wants to admit.

So exactly how many people did you expect the Lions to pick up? They got Smith. What else would you have done? You can’t trade for like 5 guys during the deadline.

Some people like living in a fantasy world where Brad can just call a team and tell them that they’re going to trade for a player on the roster and also dictate the cost.

I expect Paschal and Levi to miss next week atleast, Paschal back by the Bills game, but Levi’s is harder to say cause Hamstring injuries suck ass.
Rodrigo, might be done for the season sadly.
Jack Campbell and Nowasake and Niemann, along with David Long are our LBer’s
on a positive note though, since its been 4 games

Likely misses the Packers game i say, but he should be back for the Bills (Unless hes ready to go, but missing a month sucks, and he could be a bit slow to get back to speed)
That game next week is looking ugly for us on defense.
Long has looked good when he has been in the game. Hoping he gets more snaps next week.

Kinda depressing watching the Packers healthy and doing whatever they want against the Fins knowing half of our starters on our defense may not play next week or in the coming weeks. Don’t remember this many guys getting hurt. It seemed like every other play, someone went down.

It was fun while it lasted. I’ve never seen this many guys go down on a single team. Slowly getting plucked until there’s nothing left. And my only response is…of course it is. It sucks, this team had a real shot.
