Rang, rang. Taylor, whatcha doing tomorrow?

Every year this team under Campbell has dealt with excessive injuries. Every single year.

St. Brown has talked on his show about how hard Campbell’s practices are compared to others around the league. Other guys in the league talk about it.

That work wears down ligaments, muscles, even bone strength over time, making them more susceptible to injury.

The list of coaches renowned for running hard practices run a who’s who of the league’s best teams.

For all of his goofy demeanor, Andy Reid is legendary for hard practices. Mike MacDonald, the Harbaugh bros, Vrabel, Ben, Sirianni is all about short but super intense. Minter is new but off to a good start.

Flip side, Shanahan and McVay pay more attention to rest and the body, and the 49ers at least are the most injured team in the league the past 8 years.

There may be something to this.

But any player on any team with any practice type is probably missing Week 2 of a Thursday night game after getting rolled up like that.

That St Brown pod where it was talked amount the most was with Fred Warner and 9ers keep dying on the field despite their lighter practice load.

He got hurt in the game. He said once the adrenaline wore off the pain kicked in after the game.

It is ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  crazy it’s week 2 and are already down 3 starters on the oline. Unreal.

Borom should have no problem with Rousseau.

I know we had about 15 threads on Borom in the offseason but he did decent last year for Miami. Hopefully he can be serviceable. He’s way better than having to start Skipper like we did last year when Decker was out.

Hopefully the 2 weeks off is enough and Miller is ready to rock by week 3

The good news is that there shouldn’t be much of a drop off at RT and LG. In fact, I think Bartch is probably better than Mahogany. And Borom is a solid contingency plan at RT and should fill in fine for the rookie.

Now if Scruggs can’t go that’s one that can cause some concern. He was solid in week 1. But it’s nice have backups with significant starting experience. Gives cause for optimism.

He had a full practice today and no injury designation. Sounds like he’s playing.

Norm would have started twice V. the Bills last season, right?

Welcome back @Zeeze .

For anyone bitching about the lack of depth in the secondary, we’re now starting three backup offensive lineman and I am not worried about it because Brad addressed that in the off-season… give me a deep OL vs any position group

Last time Larry Borom’s team played the Bills they won by 17 and scored 30

Borom for President!

Guys, Larry Borom was absolutely dreadful against backups on the preseason.

He played this same team with the same pass rushers in a real game 9 months ago and gave up 0 pressures and 0 sacks.

But yes let’s cower over the preseason
