It’s really the way to go when you play on Thursday nights. Skipping that game gives a player 2 weeks before he needs to play again. I’m happy he’s sitting a game that we probably have to steal in some way to win it. A loss to an AFC team in September means about as little as an NFL game can.
It kinda sounds like the Rams fanbase is crapping itself over the Miles Garrett injury. Surgery and IR after losing game one? No possible return until Week 6, no guarantee at that time?
Add that to their suspect tackle situation, Stafford getting beat up, and a tough division? They have some stress man.
At least we have credible level backups for Miller and Mahogany? I don’t love that we now have THREE backups already starting on the line (Scruggs, Bartch, and Borom). And it’s week 2. But maybe two of them will be back by week 3? A guy can hope.
