And the rest of that texans front 7 is either injured or coming off injury. I can’t imagine them being to successful in the pass rush. But the run stopping is what scares me

Yep that gets my vote… Use tight ends and RB’s to help Sorsdal in pass pro. Skipper can stay in the jumbo package he’s familiar with.
Sewell has played a ton of left tackle in college and 10 starts with the Lions. That’s easy for him to move over. He’s probably played more left tackle than right in his life.

No way Hunter lines up over Sewell often… Unless the Texans are retarded. Move Hunter around presnap. Find matchups where Sewell aint. It’s football 101.
The Lions though can counter and use tight ends to Hunter’s side…tight ends can motion to which ever side they want presnap.

I know some DEs typically line up on certain sides of the LOS, so I didn’t know if Hunter was one of those players.

They were probably planning at that anyway because of the light Houston DL. If Anderson is out as expected, missing Decker is just bad, not catastrophic.

Oh you’re good young man…there have been a few one sided ends in the past… But in modern nfl they are moving all over the front to find mismatches.
Zadarius Smith for example is a beast rushing at Defensive tackle vs guards on passing downs. Yes he’s a end…but he’s got a ton of sacks on the interior in his career vs slow footed guards.

I mean, Decker has been rough the last couple games. This explains it, but a backup wouldn’t look as bad compared to the last 2 games.
