We should check in with Ramsthe Rams.
Trade for Alaric Jackson? Or McClendon if the Rams prefer Jackson? I assume that McClendon will get a second round tender. Perhaps the Rams are planning to flip one and let Havenstein test FA. In that case Havenstein is an interesting stop gap if we flip Penei.

According to Gemini.
I think they let Havenstein go, who would be a solid stop gap at RT for a year and shouldn’t cost to much.
Flip Penei and then pair that with a developmental right tackle to be ready in year 2. I wouldn’t hate that. Wouldn’t require insane resources.

If Decker retires I’d bet @Jman money Sewell is the left tackle next year

Who is this Jman you speak of?

Yep I’ve always expected it to happen at some point.

And yet we will still need the center position to be fixed
This also fits the Lions strategy of trying to stock the cabinet so at the draft they aren’t needing any one spot.
Dude named Alaric should be playing edge…or coming over the table at smarmy talk show hosts calling him Chris.
He should pronounce it a la Rick.
I wanted sewell and decker to swap spots when we first got sewell Might have extended deckers career a bit too since it’s opp hand for him.
