Ivey is out, so I get it. It’s Cade, 3 and D guys and grit today. Got em the 6 seed, good stuff.

They aren’t anywhere near title contenders though, they need a frontcourt top 25 scorer with D ability. Not a lot of guys like that. Giannis, Durant yeah…but available? Nope.

How about Triple J? He is gonna get an in sane FA deal. He is 25, bouncy, drios 2 threes and 4 or 5 FT in a game, so he isn’t a guy that just stands at the 3 pount line every time. He isnt a premium rebound guy, so he isn’t going to interfere witn Duren in the post or on the glass.

Averages 1 steal and 2 blocks a game for his career and 19 points a game, though 22.5 last 2 seasons. DPOY 2 seasons ago.

I think he is as close of a fit they are ginna find on the market in years, and only costs money, not assets.

JJJ is a better fit but Memphis isn’t letting him go. They’ll probably show Ja the door before long. Bane and JJJ are their foundational pieces IMO.

Booker is overlap to Ivey. Better, but way more $ and mayyybe a coach killer? Iveybwould have to go in that dral alingbwith a lot of picks.
