Here is socko’s deep psych evaluation of Rodgers. I’m certified because I’ve watched Tommy Boy at least half a dozen times.
So Rodgers is nearing the end of his career and he doesn’t like to admit that to himself. He’s no longer the league darling, that is Mahomes now. So yes, he likes the limelight. He was bothered that when he was injured in game 1 last year, nobody really gave a crap outside of Jets fans. He’s headed toward irrelevance but again in denial of that. He also legitimately has some right wing ideas, like the anti-vax stance, and that does not go over well in a media world driven by left wingers. And he loves to pull peoples chains with that. He likes McAfee because McAfee has that kind of personality that players like. But more than anything, he’s terrified of the BNL. We have his number. That’s why he had to leave the Pack.

He will go the Brady route. Some network will hand him the keys to another man’s car, and pay him a jillion dollars for it.

If he had a better Shaman, it would most likely be good for the team. You don’t go to stuff like that and come back more arrogant than you ever were in the first place…do you? How TF can that happen? It does with this guy. On one hand, I love that he advocates for toad-licking, etc… on the other hand, he’s the world’s worst ambassador for it!

I will say… Rodgers loves attention. But he’s great at football and he does make good points at times about the nfl. He’s nailed the nfl hypocrisy several times over the years. That’s why his teammates love him.
