Yup. He will get a $1,000 suspension and have to issue a public apology.
IMO, he needs to experience some karate
I can only imagine how terrifying it is to be a lady and having one of these football players coming at you.
Lions cornerbacks

Wow so stupid.
NFL Network is saying “strangulation” and “suffocation” are part of the alledged abuse. ![]()
Cut him.
I saw intimidating a witness as well. Them be some felonies that won’t be so easy to dismiss. Well felonies around my next of the woods not sure where this happened though.
Ray Rice would have gotten a slap on the wrist but then that video popped up and it was over. Will be interesting to watch this unfold.
We call that a Sutton around these parts.
Sounds more like attempted murder than abuse.
Good thing the crime is strangulation rather than holding. No way that he’d be charged with the latter.
I am so conditioned to think the worse, my first reaction was, “oh no, what did former Lions CB Jerry Jacobs do?!!”
Or some wall to wall counseling ![]()

Nah. I’m pretty sure that if Jerry Jacobs ever tried to put his hands on a woman she’d defeat the jam.
Okay, now if we could just get 4-5 more of them arrested
At first I thought, wait, Jerry Jacobs is still on the roster. What?
Upon further examination, yeah Josh is cooked. Although, Cam Sutton managed to get into diversion with strangulation on the list of charges. This sounds a lot worse though.
Ha, you beat me to it.
Battery – hit her. 9 month max.
Criminal damage to property – common in dv cases, broke her phone, door, or furniture probably.
Disorderly domestic – another way to charge essentially the same conduct. 90 day max
Strangulation/suffocation – felony 6 year max
Intimidation of a victim –9 month or ten year max. May be the felony variety because of the strangulation.
I’m not licensed in Wisconsin but so long as she isn’t hurt bad I could see him landing in the minimal to no jail range with a misdemeanor conviction.
Rampant speculation contained above.
