Jaguars would consider Daytona International Speedway as temporary home -

That’s something you don’t see every day—quite the headline.

Gainesville would be the obvious choice IMO for temporary stadium. Less work needs to be done. Florida can use the money to upgrade their stadium.

Spending money on DIS would be dumb as it would mostly be wasted money as most of it wouldn’t be used after JAX is done with their stadium.

I don’t know how that would work. There’s not going to be a close seat. The closest would be 100 yards from the field, if they center it.
And, it’s not an oval.
If they install seating on the infield, its going to obscure the view from the grand stands.
They’d be better off using the dog racing field nextdoor.

I’m hoping they somehow go with Camping World Stadium in Orlando!
I know it’s a much further drive, but we could support the parking and the facilities are already pretty nice here.

I don’t even see how that’s possible. There is a big pond inside that infield at that track.

Last I had heard from friends in Jville it was going to be Gainesville.

Jaguars existing stadium has a pool in the stands. So it sounds like that is just an evolution for them.

I’ve been told they have played football there before and the field was on ten front stretch so I guess it’s possible

Imagine the home field advantage of knowing how to gameplan around the pond.
