I think you’re over thinking this. They gave him the ball inside the 5 yard line because they were trying to win the game and he was their best goal line back. They gave him a lot of caries because Swift dealt with injury for much of the year and Jamal was their most consistent, all-around running back.
I would bet $100 that Jamall is back in 2023. There is not a sliver of doubt in my mind. He is not a special running back on the field, he has very few if any elite traits on the field. I don’t care about his production, those guys don’t get paid well.
Jamall reminds me of a mark Ingram type of player. Ingram got three years 15 mill a couple years ago when he left New Orleans. That is the same ballpark I expect Mall to be around.
