Jamaal Williams Re-Signing

The guy is getting up there in age, but man his work ethic, attitude and production is off the charts.

what do we give him?

Nothing. The FA market is littered with RBs. Can find a goal line specialist for cheaper.

Great job in short yardage this season.

He’s getting 2yr/6m now. He’s 27 but I’d give him 3yr/12m or something along those lines.

Are you even a Lions fan?

Because if you were, you’d realize Jamaal cannot be replaced with his impact on and off the field by any random FA RB.

I think literally every Lions fan understands what he means to this locker room and this program.

No, he’s not. Which is why he showed up during Vikings week.

I think you’re wrong…because ConnorMcf***face is an idiot :joy:. I can’t believe people don’t see what Jwill brings to this team.

He’s a Vikings fan troll! Just ignore him.

I’d really like to keep him…3 years worries me a bit though, he will be 28 next season. 2 years 9 mill, done! I still see us drafting a RB, maybe 3rd rounder or later. Swift as we know is rarely healthy

His attitude and leadership alone says otherwise… hard to find that in a RB

I just put that goofy MF’r on “ignore”
Just a gas lighting flame baiter.
waste of your energy, my man!

Hoping for a team friendly deal…which sucks, cuz of every position…RBs truly risk more than anyone else. I’d bet they are the most injured position by far…an his style of play…

Did the guy really imply that JW is merely a “goal line specialist”?

Recognize flame bait for what it is…then conserve your energy for shit that matters.
Think of it as a toddler in the corner screaming for attention. Just gotta see it for what it is.

What’s a team friendly deal though? We are talking at most 4m a year.

Give him his money so he can keep cracking jokes and scoring touchdowns.

Whatever he an Brad come up with. I’ll be goo with it. I don’t want hi to get hurt and become the new Brockers. Love the guy, and also recognize he has a TON of hard miles on him…NOT highway miles…he’s been in 4wd, stuck in the mud, getting pulled out by track hos and back hos etc, etc.

Love the guy. Wish he could be the highest paid in the NFL. Also…there’s another side to it.

It’s a pretty cold statement, for sure.
My first thought was that he’s a Packer fan hoping to get him back.
Swaggy is the embodiment of this teams identity. Pay the man. Make him retire a Lion.

Personally I believe he will be resigned at a reasonable deal. He LOVES Staley and MCDC. He honestly might be the single most important player in regards to this regime establishing the culture and mindset they did……and he is also the anti-Patricia player……
