Why LLMs are hitting a wall… and why it’s fatal. And not for humans. Don’t worry, there are still other AI technologies that are going to kill you. Carry on.
That is just a complete shock to me given that it’s been shown now that at least 20% of the entire data set that llms were trained on, having to be public sources that they of course did not get anyone’s permission to go and use, end up being the dreck from subreddits and Wikipedia.
And that’s just auditing those two sources. Imagine trying to sell the next greatest technological Revolution that will bring Humanity into a new era but not telling anyone that ESPNbaby’s posts and my voluminous non sequitur rantings are the basis for the grammar and logic used to launch mankind into Utopia
