Jameson Williams eyes immediate return after putting himself through two-a-days

If ARSB goes down, we have nothing. Nada. Zilch. They will win 30% games that he misses. He’s already been gimpy several times. I’m just saying, this team is not hosting and winning playoff games with Josh Reynolds, Jameson Williams, Khalif Raymond as it’s top 3. People are putting way too much faith into ‘Jamo’ when the stars are aligning much more so into the bust galaxy than the functional threat one. I’m sorry but I still feel like this team is sorely lacking at WR. I really hope Brad Holmes feels the same. He is gambling a top 4 playoff seed. Again, I really hope I’m wrong about #9, but I don’t think I am.

this is basically a post that says we don’t have a Jamarr Chase or Justin Jefferson (as they are now) so we have a bad receiving corp.

Laporta isn’t a WR–he’s a productive and likable TE–and IMO MJ isn’t a WR anymore either , he hasn’t demonstrated that he still is an able receiver at all -yet- anyway. Jamo coming back is pretty big as far as the WR group is considered----but we need to see him produce and score or block , before we label him a savior of sorts.

Correct. It seemed clear to me.

I typically shy away from the UNDER when a guy can get the OVER with a single short catch. But with Marvin I have been proudly taking the UNDER. His snaps are on a downward trend and his usage is destined to go down with Jamo coming back and other guys getting more involved in the offense.

Here is his snap count so far:

This.

The theme for this team hasn’t changed.

Just. Do. Your. Job.

If you don’t do your job, you leave teammates exposed. And you won’t play.

Simple. You can have all world talent or speed, but if you don’t do your job, it means nothing.

So what, he had to turn in his playbook for 3 weeks? That doesn’t make any sense. They gave him one in the off-season (along with it’s digital counterparts I’m sure). Does the NFL have super secret guards that watch him 24/7 so he doesn’t look at an iPad?

I’m calling bs on that. He may not be getting any NEW plays from those weeks, but he still has access to 95% of the playbook…

Teams can track player use of the team issued tablets… so I am sure the NFL can monitor that use as well (or audit the use based on team information).

That came up when Kyler Murray signed his extension and the Cardinals initially included a clause that required a minimum amount of film study each week.

I have Jamo on my fantasy bench. Torn on whether to start him. He won’t get a ton of touches, but if I don’t start him he’s guaranteed to get like four catches and two of them TDs.

You have your answer.

Take one for the team here.

yea, only way id see him getting traded are after Goff ASB and Hutch are extended and Jamo proves have some good value prior to his contract expiring… So he at least a year to prove something so Lions can get some return.

Well then there we go… thanks for the intel!

Of course…. I can’t imagine they can track a thumb deive loaded with playbook…. or if a player used his own personal tablet to take pics of the plays all offseason while knowing an upcoming suspension was scheduled…. :man_shrugging::wink::sunglasses::smirk:

Reynolds and Raymond are fine for 3/4s. Really we have already been operating as our #2 being hurt. Now yes this is relying on Jamo being at least competent.

Now in saying that I think one interesting name that was brought up on local radio is trading for Chark if Carolina continues to be terrible.
