Every wide receiver has been not as productive with Goff here in Detroit his 1st 5-7 games then an explosion
St. Brown and Chark had mid production then they blew up.
I feel like everyone forgets this with Jamo because he was picked 12th

This is the catch that is going to get Jamo jumpstarted. It showed timing in spades with Goff. If Josh Reynolds weren’t mysteriously clustered in the area and interfering with Jamo’s moves, he might have taken it to the house.
Haha if Forrest Gump was a real football player…Tom Hanks would be carted off the field after 1 play and never play again
Lmao
I loved when Tito fought Forrest Griffin and he came out wearing a shirt that said “run Forrrest run”.
Hilarious.
@coyote12 I did an analysis on Jamo’s current trajectory in an earlier thread, and it’s not good. As of now he is close to the back of the bunch when comparing him to 1st round receivers going back to 2016. I’ll post it below.
Below are all the 1st round receivers taken since 2016. Few if any of the 1st round picks that had ~500ish yards or less their first season, except for Corey Davis and Mike Williams, turned out to be a serviceable starter let alone a megastar. At his current pace Williams isn’t even going to reach 300 yards combined in 2022/ 2023. Let’s hope he can turn his career around and join only two other players since 2016 and have a productive career.
Players with 500ish yards or less in year 1
Jahan Dotson 523yds (2022)
Treylon Burks 425yds (2022)
Jameson Williams 201yds (2022) – I add 2022 (41) & projected the rest of 2023 (160)
Kadarius Toney 420yds (2021)
Rashod Bateman 515yds (2021)
Henry Ruggs* 452yds (2020) – was on pace for 1,033 in year 2
Jalen Reagor 396yds (2020)
N’Keal Harry 105yds (2019)
Corey Coleman 413yds (2018)
John Ross 0yds/ 210yds (2017/ 2018)
Mike Williams 95yds/ 664yds (2017/ 2018)
Corey Davis 375yds (2017)
Laquon Treadwell 15yds (2016)
Josh Doctson 66yds (2016)
Players with more than 500+ish yards in year 1

DJ Moore 788 (2018)
Will Fuller 635yds 2016
I’m hopeful he can string several synapses together on the same play that tells him where to cut, what speed to run, when to expect the ball, catch ball, and then go blank to let the gazelle take over. I still think we are going to see it and be like….ok.
After listening to the LaPorte interview this week, it’s clear you have to run amazingly precise routes in Ben’s offense due to the high amount of timed throws which Goff excels at. I think a lot of Jamo’s near misses are because he’s just hitting the spot. There is also some times when it looks like he’s strait up running the wrong route. Even though it’s taking forever, I still feel like this is correctable with practice.
When you look at how much time he has worked with Goff an the messed up time with team, he is just starting to show what he can do . He will be very confident from now on an we will see maybe even in playoffs what he can do.
