Jamo to get more looks this week?

“Yeah, it’s a weekly process, and I think it is coming along,” Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson said last week. “We try to push Jamo a little bit more every week in terms of the routes we’re asking him to run, not just for the game, but also for his development and for Jared’s chemistry with him. We’re trying to see what he’s capable of and what he’s comfortable with at this point coming off that injury."

Interesting quote from Ben, I wonder if Jamo isn’t picking up the routes as fast as he could

Edit: BTW not a knock on Jamo but just an observation, they may be asking him to do some things different from what he did at Alabama

Rumor is Jamo tweaked his knee in the 1st half of the Panthers game. Could be why he saw the limited snaps the rest of the game. With the field conditions the way they were I don’t blame them

I said Ragnow was the one, with his foot injury, i worried about with regards to the field conditions, forgetting about J Williams. His ACL recovery combined with the poor field conditions are good reasons for lack of playing time Sunday.

Plus, he looks like he weighs 165lbs soaking wet right now. His legs seemed to get even thinner during his injury recovery period. I know receivers don’t need to be jacked, but damn that dude is thin. He’s got an Allen Iverson build, and he’s going up against grown men out there.

Would be nice to see Jamo out there more, taking 15-yd crossing patterns to the house. But I have ZERO doubt that DC et al are doing right by him and the team, as they see fit, and am well aware that they have WAAAAAAY more information than we do from our couches.

It’s possible to be both eager and patient at the same time.
