Anyone know when the rookie jersey numbers will be revealed? I’m superstitious about them. If you are a cornerback and wear 24 that’s a good number you might be good, but if you wear 42 thats a bad number you might suck.
I am curious because typically they did it at rookie camp. However no camp this year.
So should be soon either way.
Some of these current guys on the roster will have to get cut as there aren’t enough numbers to go around. I expect Moore to be #9 tho
I imagine Teddy will 5, and Pacheco said at press conference that he will be wearing 10

Ourlads usually have the updated numbers. I expect Miller to be #79 and Moore #9. Rakestraw grabbed #2.

I dont see Moore getting single digits.
I know hes listed as an Edge. Which Is classified as DL for numbers. So 50-79/90+ however if he were listed as a OLB. He would have access to 0-59/90+
Moore is list as outside linebacker / edge so he can get #9. The linebacker we got from dallas will wear #11

But the Lions have him officially listed as “Edge” not OLB.

Either Lacy or Levi will have to switch. Its okay for Bartch to share a number with a defender. But not 2 guys on the same side of the ball
That’s why initially, I said some guys will be cut because there’s not enough numbers to go around. At the end of the day, I expect Moore to wear a single digit number if it’s available. Jason Pierre Paul wore # 4 in Baltimore. I still believe Moore will be 8 or 9

And yes players can share numbers in PS. However they have to play on opposite sides of the Ball.
So either Meeks or Conklin will change.
And Levi or Lacy will change.

Levi changing his number after 5 seasons is kinda surprising. Hopefully 95 brings him some good luck health wise.

Rakestraw needs to make up his mind, but I’m liking #2 for him.
Levi was 75 rookie year.
Then 91 when it became available
Then changed last year when Tylek wanted it. And paid him. So he went to 78.
No going to 95 because it’s available
So 4th number in 5 years
