I wanted to keep Cooter when they hired Patricia. I blamed Caldwell for the vanilla offense and slow starts…let alone holding onto coaches too long like Ron Prince and Lombardi and lack of a running game.
It seemed reasonable to believe that with the hiring a new defensive minded coach, retaining the OC that made Stafford a more complete QB would help with some continuity coming into this season.
Nope…completely wrong
Whatever was working before is over. It is imperative that they move on and move on soon…even if they go with an interim coach.
