This would be one awesome way to start this season off.
“How much y’all wanna bet I’m not on there,” Joseph responded to the post
"Detroit Lions PUP list will be announced soon. Will Kerby Joseph be on it?
Either way, he’ll be significantly load-managed throughout camp to preserve his knee…."
Joseph responded directly to Liao’s post.

That is quite encouraging.
This just goes back to what DC said weeks ago: they don’t know.
They and he are doing every danged thing they can to give Kerb the best chance of succeeding in terms of treatment and time. They’re pushing back the moment when they’ll have to pressure-test the knee, see if it holds up well enough during and after game-like circumstances.
That’ll be the real test. And until it happens, they can’t know. And even if it holds up in the near term they’ll have to keep managing it carefully over time.
A precarious situation, but not a hopeless one.
So let’s hope!
It’s one thing to run around in pyjamas, but we probably won’t know for sure until live bullets are flying. I’d be playing him some in pre-season for that reason.
I’m so leery of injuries now that I’m no dont play him until the final game or playoffs.

He was sounding pretty defeated last fall. This is a complete turn around!
My prayers are with you, Kerby. Let’s do this!
Yea I remember that. Well this is much better news than a surprise retirement like last year.
Even if Kerby is able to go at some point this year, and even if BB is able to get back on the field this year - how will they look? That’s just as big a question as any. “Back” to what form?
It will be interesting to see how they use BB this year. I don’t have high hopes of him ever returning to form which is very unfortunate because he had HOF potential.
Amen
praying for Kerby health & well being
I really liked Roger McReary to sign him for our NB
That being said, when Branch gets back get him back near the LOS
Agreed this might be the best spot for him
Positive news for sure. Means he’s fully rehabbed and conditioned to give it a go. Hopefully the knee responds well to full speed and contact. IMO they will go very slow with him as they are conservative on return to play conditioning. ![]()
