I wasn’t expecting a trailer to hit this hard. I still think about this man a few times a year in some random memories. His soul is interwoven though an entire generation (X).

43 is waaaay too young. He is and continues to be missed.
Planes Trains….best holiday movie ever.
“Those aren’t pillows”. Classic line from a classic movie, delivered by a great actor in John Candy. Loved that guy.
The scene where Martin starts ripping into Candy and he almost starts crying…fantastic acting.
Chatty Cathy Doll…. Ha…
We try to watch it as a family every Thanksgiving.
Candy had so many great movies. Hard to pick a favourite but Uncle Buck might be it for me!

Bug! Lol
The best scene is at the school when Candy tells off the old miserable principal! Lol
Some comedians are assholes, but I’ve never seen anyone say that about Candy. Conan talks about meeting him as a college student.
Great actor.
I had a school friend who was a lot like John Candy and everyone joked him about it.
LOL..the singers teeth.
Planes, Trains and Automobiles for me but Uncle Buck is a very close second!
Can never not watch when I see them on TV….. especially if it’s close to the “You’re going the wrong way” scene. Make me howl every time!
TP&A and he was great in Splash. Macaulay Culkin ruins Uncle Buck for me.
John Candy was the best. He could have you in stitches in one scene and tearing up in the next. PT&A will always be my favorite movie of his for that reason.
Even his eyeballs were hilarious.

I think Macauley is great in Uncle Buck! When he interrogates John Candy and the look on his face with the giant birthday pancakes was priceless!
But Splash was another great one
That’s Martin Short! Also Eugene Levy on lead guitar
