I remember when ESPN had that series called playmakers and the NFL asked them to shut it down due to it being to true to life. And that show had ridiculous crap. Like players meeting dealers in stadium parking lots pregame for drugs.
My point is this. I have worked in large manufacturing plants with 20 year olds and it is its own craziness. Imagine working somewhere where you hand 50 - 20 years olds millions of dollars each and they all grew up broke as shit.
Gruden and all dudes who have been around the NFL 20+ years could tell off the book stories that no one would believe.
I agree with you on we probably don’t know. But this story was basically him saying as long as he made the kicks gruden didn’t care if he was drunk. Which is probably true.
But now that he’s said it publicly

You can never get enough of Janikowski stories. In one case it was said he wouldn’t have been arrested but when he passed out at his table in the bar he slid off and was, by all accounts, wide right.

He’s all about football. I know there will be some pearl clutching in response to this, but I’d rather he be in the league than Goodell. We’re all imperfect, and some of our language is worse than others, but what happened to him was a hit job from the word go.

I judge people by how those close to them view the man. They all seem to love him.
I love Gruden.
But ya if the powers that be want you out…and you locked in for 10 years 100 million…they gonna pull out the dirty playbook.
