I root for my fantasy players to put up numbers. I don’t care if they “play well" or not. I do not have Jordan Love on my team. But if he throws the ball 50 times in a game to put up big fantasy numbers…it means the Packers were losing.

Moving up the trial by 2 months, sealing evidence, Wisconsin is doing everything they can to protect him. Let’s see how the NFL plays it.
Will be interesting to see if they can keep it sealed. I mean what’s the basis for protecting this from the public?

As soon as it was reported the case got moved up 2 months, the play was gonna be what has happened.
No contest ( so no discovery) and delayed sentencing.
Evidence is now FOIA proof and it’s going to be a high bar to unseal it based on “public interest” given it’s nature of being between two parties known to each other on private property in basically a relationship dispute. It’s not a public official, or involving public $, or a crime that involved a lot of people or in a public place.
NC also shields Jacobs somewhat from a civil suit from the woman. Also, I’m sure they got to her to get her to pipe down in exchange for “considerstion”
I remember when Barney was yelling at Otis to pipe down but Otis refused. Apparently Barney didn’t know about how “consideration” worked.
Someone’s gonna give it to TMZ for some cash. Hard to keep stuff hidden. The fact he plead guilty to try and keep this hidden makes it where people want to see it even more imo.

They should suspend him for the entire season and explain that his “no contest plea” combined with his desire to seal the video is sufficient to conclude it was a violent incident against a woman.
When the appeal is filed by Jacobs… offer to reduce the suspension if the video is shown to the NFL and it shows he didn’t deliberately assault his girlfriend.
