Yes and no.
Beilein didn’t like the way things were going in CBB and the NCAA and it wasn’t a good fit for his recruiting and coaching style. Then add in his age.
But man I loved him, class act through and through.

I wonder what John Beilein is up to these days.
He has to be in his 70’s by now, but I’d take him for a couple years to help right the ship.

Juwan’s trajectory really went downhill these last 2 seasons…but it followed his recruiting. His kid was an awful player, Joan Jett. I think that soured players to the program.

It looked like a homerun type of hire at first. I though we had one of the next great NCAA coaches.
You are right BTW. It seems like the downfall coincided with his kid coming here.
