Kerby a beast in OTAs--- and Shiela!

Said Kerby is playing like one of the best players on the team. Confidence high. Called him “a pest in the secondary”. He picked Goff off and strolled back and gave the ball to Shiela, then proceeded to celebrate with the team. Almost got another one but ASB had to turn into a defender and would have gotten a flag in a real game for how aggressive he had to be to break the play up.

There’s a lot more that’s covered, but that’s the part I was initially copy/pasting. Even though it was 2% of the article, still thought better of it just in case with all the new rules.

There’s a free version of the same news in a different thread.

– Safety Kerby Joseph and cornerback Jerry Jacobs were loud and all over the field, with Gardner-Johnson getting the day off. Joseph made a patented interception through an excellent read on an underthrown Goff deep ball for Kalif Raymond. Joseph burst upfield at the right moment, catching the ball in stride and letting everyone know about it by handing the ball to team owner Sheila Ford Hamp. Joseph nearly had another interception. But Amon-Ra St. Brown committed to the intentional offensive pass interference break up to keep his teammate from another celebration.

Kerby feels like a legit starter at this point. Potentially the Lions #1 safety who doesn’t come off the field. Huge if he continues this upward trajectory

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I’m guaranteeing you that coach Bly loves that sorta behavior

Kerby is could easily be one of my favorites. Saw an interview with him that was SO believable, in terms of what he expects from himself. He’s gonna be a reeeeeaaally good one, guys.

Hutch & Houston both both have that potential too. We may have several stars already!

He sure is a ball hawk, his background playing WR, you can really see that the way he plays and reads QB’s eyes.

I think the big step for him is communication and not having any breakdowns in the back end. Adding Sutton, Moseley and Gardner-Johnson should really help Kerby learn and develop from those vets.

I kinda like Jack “Hacksaw” Campbell. Maybe next year when he shows he’s the second coming of Rams great Jack “Hacksaw” Reynolds.

Second biggest to the set on MCDC.

We may lose him after this year, but that cat is helping ALL of the young’n’z learn the position…strategically, instinctively, and energetically.
Such a blessing from the eagles. Yeah…they can have Swifty.

Executive Branch great guy to have in the wings ready to replace him if he does go… I hope CGJ stays and lights it up. But if he does go maybe Aaron Glenn gets a HC job

in which case we could get 2 3rd round picks and maybe a 4th round pick for CGJ
