Kirby to force himself on the field and continue to fight the knee issues and shorten his career.

Get some experimental treatments and maybe be healthy enough to really help the team down the stretch…. and hopefully lengthen his career some?

I think it’s pretty simple. He trained hard for a day or two and his knee blew up like a hot air balloon. They shipped him out before it became a massive story.
I wouldn’t say branch is toast. He may lose a step but he has the football intelligence and instincts to compensate for that. Especially in the right scheme. He doesn’t need to be a blazer to be an impact safety.
I think if Branch will be impactful then we will use him more like a box safety and have him playing downfield more than back peddling into coverages.
I hope Kerby makes the best decision for his long term health over a short term playing career. He’s too young to risk all the quality years of life he has left.
He’s probably in Panama getting those umbilical cord stem cells
Or do what Illinois did with Kirby and have him playing so far back he barely shows in the all 22. 
The most annoying thing is Kerby’s knee being top secret. His knee is the X Files
Grey area maybe. I’m no lawyer, but I doubt coaches are bound by HIPAA, and considering teams openly report injuries I’m pretty confident on this.

Theres no benefit to cut him now because its only a $5m hit. Let him sit on PUP. It would be almost $30m to cut him now.
But if he doesn’t he doesn’t look good this year. Yea i would cut him after this year before march 13.
