We typically carry six cornerbacks of which 4-Hour accounted for and one of the two on the back end are special teams guys primarily. This leaves one spot which he has occupied the last couple years.
With Glenn gone it may be that he lost his advocate in the room.
Pretty sure he could be upgraded in free agency or the draft, so not too concerned with him leaving at all. Leaving out the doink, there were still some pretty awful plays by him. I get that he had some better numbers this year but I don’t think he’s going to be a make or break situation either way for this team as hopefully we’re not so tragically injured in the secondary and elsewhere this year.
The other point is is they are going to have to bring along someone this year in case Amik looks for a big contract next year. While Rake is that guy, as we’ve seen we need depth and probably need to be developing two guys at a time and not just one

Corner depth is definitely an area we can add too. Vildor and Moseley is 2 open roster spots at corner

That cost the Lions a trip to the Super Bowl…I still have PTSD over that 2nd half.
And let me add, I am just glad he is on another team. Good bad whatever type of player he was sometimes a guy needs to move on. I just felt as long as he was on the field bad things were in store for the squad. I wish he nothing but the best but I felt he had a HEX on him and be default it carried over to the Lions.
