Isn’t it just easier to put someone on ignore? I’m trolling because I think that Kyle Meinke is a goofball lol got it. I would have thought that most people felt this way. Posters get wayyy too triggered over someone’s opinion.

Someone just liked a post I made over three years ago yesterday. It was the Kyle Meinke thread where he predicted the Lions to win 3 games in Dan and Brad’s first year. That thread is 177 posts long and lots of push-back and belly-aching from fans in that thread. Kyle was right on his prediction….the Lions did win only 3 games that year. But fans on that thread were saying “If all you get is three wins out of this roster perhaps it time to cut bait early.” Fans were already ready to give up ON THIS REGIME. Had the fans got what they wanted not you wouldn’t be enjoying what you have NOW. Point is….fans don’t know shit other than they are just fans who root for sports teams. And then there are the trolls who just shit on people because they offer nothing else, that would be YOU MIKE MCMAHON. Remember….Brad Holmes is still sitting at the kids table, that’s how much YOU KNOW!

Getting back to the topic, I’ve loved reading Kyle and Justin over the years. Sorry to hear about the last year being hard for him, hope he finds happiness wherever he goes.

I’ve always appreciated that both Justin and Kyle has been willing to be honest about what they see and hear. Never have to worry that I’m reading some homer BS or antagonizing articles for the sake of getting clicks.

Absolutely, Kyle’s takes have been really good over the years. It’s a bummer that after covering this organization through the muck and the mire, that upon finally getting to cover them as a legit SB contender, his life outside of work was so difficult.

Kyle really rubbed me the wrong way in how he talked about Goff in that first pre-season and season. He was accurate in the defunct that was Lynn’s offense, but he was inaccurate in his assessment of Goff as a player. Definitely never trusted his assessments after that…
Wish him the best in life and seems like he is making a good decision to make a change.
Wonder what the “story” is that he alludes to? Can only speculate it’s some kind of workplace disfunction to happen mid-season when the Lions are on a tear right now.

Never cared much for this guy when he keeps calling a Concussion a “BRAIN INURY” as if he was trying to make football look worse and somehow hurt the sport. I asked him what was wrong withe the word we have been using for decades and it is a proper word, “CONCUSSION” not a thing wrong with that word. This guy worked covering the NFL yet was trying to make the sport look as bad as he possibly could. We could stop “Brain Injuries”, we could just stop football completely, right Kyle?
