People complain a lot about the media, but these guys have to sit there and ask the obvious questions over and over again. There are only so many questions to ask at NFL press conferences. Anyone here would be asking the very same ones.

The pressers are probably the easy part. Getting info, sources you can trust, then you got fans wishing death on you for a sports article or sports tweet. We live in an insane world. When it comes to careers… That’s one I’d never wanna do in a zillion years.

I always enjoyed listening to Kyle Meinke and Justin Rodgers when they were on MLive together. Them with Killer was peak Lions writing.
If memory serves, we can also thank Kyle for the “sit up straight” press conference. He basically exposed Patricia before Patricia exposed himself. Not counting the whole Galveston fiasco…

Rothstein is a classy professional. The exact opposite of Kyle. He is the worst beat reporter to ever cover the Lions.

He knows absolutely nothing about sports. Has never played real sports. And is an arrogant goofball. I can assure you that every single player and coach thinks he is a clown. He epitomizes every thing wrong with “men” today. This shouldn’t even need to be explained.
