Wonder if the two are inter-related after a Chris Spielman visit to the NYJ.
Jets interview first, Saints second.
Wonder if Glenn even makes it to New Orleans?
I can see two of three happening the one not happening is too predictable to mention
I don’t see Spielman going to the Jets.
I hope not. That to me, would be the biggest loss of all.
I hope Newmark gets his shot. He’s paid his dues for a lot of years.
If the Lions want to keep Spielman, they need to elevate his role. Make him a vice president. Let him know the job of team president will be his eventually.
I would be floored if Spielman left, he is a Lions through and through. I’m guessing the Jets asked him to visit to pick his brain on Lance and Glenn.
The Jets always seemed like a better fit for Glenn, the next coach in New Orleans is another lame duck coach with the cap situation their in. They need to clean house and be the worst team in the league next year. It’s overdue.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he left. He’s been in the same role for four years. Most people want to keep being challenged and prove themselves. It’s up to the lions to offer him that, or eventually he’s going to seek it elsewhere.
Do we still have Brad and Dan? Yes? Okay, I’m good then.
You sure?
I think Ben was the entire offense the last two years, Dan had nothing to do wiht it per many on the board. Not to even mention how bad Holmes has been.
That’s what I think (and hope).
Me, too. My 1st choice for Glenn is Dallas. My 2nd for him is New Orleans.
BUT…
Since we’re talking about pairing him with Newmark, this is my genuine hope for both of them, that they go on to great success together with the Jets.
Lance helped draft Hooker.
Maybe they’ll want him?
Ya know …trade for a QB like Brad & Dan did

Oh, stop that, you silver-tongued devil, you. You know I can’t resist bean porn…
