He was a pretty cool human as far as I have heard. Tremendous humanitarian. I had a friend who met him once. She said he was extraordinarily nice and humble. Of course she didn’t know about the wagging finger until I showed her.

I was always a huge fan of him, and loved that he and Jordan both did the finger wag to each other. The guy was a fierce defensive player in an offensive league.
I can still hear Stuart Scott in my head saying his full name. RIP Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo, and to Stuart Scott.

As a Nuggets fan, this hurts man, Mutombo was arguably the greatest Defensive Centers to have ever played the game outside of Ben Wallace.
The Finger Wag, his humbleness and kindness, everything really.
He will be greatly missed.
And How can I forget him beating the Supersonics, outside of the Chip winning year, the best playoff moment in Nuggets history.
Just sad man.
