Then again, they play TN this weekend, a win, questionable at best, puts them right back in.
Then again, OSU loses to IU and they will be on the hot seat. No I don’t see it happening but i would laugh.

I actually think ASU has the best chance to do anything of all the Big 12 teams, so I hope they stay in it. I mean, they probably won’t do anything, but TCU did beat Michigan in the semis a couple of years ago. Anything can happen in a one-off.

I know things are going to shake out differently with the games still to be played, but ugh, this is my least favorite bracket so far. Hate the inter-conference games in the first round.
After three consecutive seasons of humiliation, this is the year the Buckeyes get revenge. Bold prediction: Ohio State is going to beat Michigan by 4 TDs.

Boise ahead of Ohio State doesn’t make any sense to me. OSU should beat Michigan pretty soundly this weekend, and I would think they would claim that spot.

Miami yes but Boise State has just a good a case as any Big 12 team for the bye.
Personally, I think they’re a fraud but it’s such a weak field this year so I don’t see any other team that clearly deserves to be in over them for the 4th auto bid.
The field is extraordinarily weak this year. Just look at the #3 and 4 teams.
Texas’s best win is Michigan while Penn State’s best win is Illinois.
Who’s Miami’s quality win. Notre Dame beat A&M but nobody else and lost to Northern Illinois.
SMU has beaten nobody, Indiana the same.
It’s a really weak playoff field this year in general.
They’re ahead of Ohio State because Conference Champ gets the automatic bye.
It’s like a weaker division champ in the NFL getting a higher seed over a wild card team with a better record.

Yep, and Ohio State can get that bye if they beat Oregon in the B1G CG, and then Oregon would end up playing in the first round.

They need to make a 32 team super league.
Theres only a hand full of teams that spend $1m+ on NIL. Make $100m annually. Consistently sending players high in the draft and are consistently competitive.

You’ve got the Big 10, SEC and ACC champs in the top 3 then… who? Big 12 Champ, Boise and Tulane. Boise is likely the best choice of the three.
Kansas kind of ruined everything for the Big 12 by not playing to their playoff worthy potential most of the season then finally playing up to their ability just in time to ruin it for the top Big 12 teams three weeks in a row.
