LeFleur needs to be fired

I guess I just don’t get this. His play calling in that 2nd half was terrible. He had a decent year last year at 27pt/gm and in 2020 with 31pt/gm
Other than those 2 years every year has been mid 20’s or less

LaFleur Should honestly get canned for this

cant lose a game like that, prolly the worst playoff choke since 28-3

You dont come back from that type of loss both as a coach and as a team.

The kicker is doomed.

Sometimes it’s play calling, sometimes it’s decision making, sometimes it’s talent available. He is pretty solid MO.

I am not certain if I know of a HC that became an OC in the same division.

LeFluer for OC and Flores for DC…that’d be quite the dramatic twist in the division, lfg.

Imagine the hate for the Bears and the bitterness toward the Packers that he would bring

I got a chub

Great coach and I’d love to see him out of the division!!! He’ll be hired right away if GB is dumb enough to fire him!

Special teams matter. The Rams almost lost to the panthers and had another blocked punt. The Packers absolutely shit the bed missing 2 fgs and an XP. But honestly both games were very entertaining. I’ve thought for a while Lefluer is on a hot seat. To be up 21-3 and up by 15 with like 6 minutes to go is pretty damning. Especially against a Bears team that isn’t a powerhouse. It’s one thing to lose, it’s another thing to choke it away again….like they did when they played 3 weeks ago.

Harbaugh has a house in the UP and his agent is apparently the Packers former president’s (Bob Harlan) son Brian… Some connections there

Anyone who wants LaFleur here as OC is crazy. Forget the absolute catastrophe in game management last night. Look at how the offense alone was called. LaFleur’s playcalling cost the Packers the game. This is also literally the same exact thing that happened to them in the second Bears game. LaFleur gets a lead, goes super conservative, doesn’t even run to actually chew the clock, then watches the other team take the game over. It’s insane.

Ben Johnson was shitting his pants, pissing down his leg, and calling a game that any Lions fan will immediately recognize as the NFCCG and especially last year’s game against Washington. He was absolutely determined to lose that game. Right up until LaFleur steps forward and says “Oh no you don’t, the worst playoff coached game title belongs to me!” He took that crown, and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

That’s the guy people are saying would be brilliant? I’d rather we hire Blough, or anyone else. For the people who want to blame everything on McManus, just remember it was LaFleur who insisted on keeping McManus after he already showed this season he was having accuracy issues. Remember, all of the Packer fans wanted their substitute teacher kicker who had set the longest FG record. LaFleur doesn’t get to blame the same guy he backed and stood up for.

Is this based on the possibility of LeFleur coming here as OC or just general information?

Honestly it would’ve worked. Unfortunate that the passing plays were going for huge chunks so they were unable to eat the clock. Also unfortunate that the long play to Doubs he remained untouched as he slid OB. Most the clock should’ve been killed and would’ve been had they picked up one more 1st down.

I wouldve done it slightly different with a run every 1st down followed by passes on 2nd & 3rd. But I understand why they did it. The run game was awful after those 1st two drives. Josh Jacobs had 5/40 on those drives then went 14/15 the rest of the way.

It was another example of the bears being lucky as hell doubled with Caleb being terrific off schedule and in the clutch.

Just the implications of a coach that has several vendettas within the division.

I was about to respond seriously in the summer, but I noticed this and want to bring it to your attention. If you look at the game when Golden scored the third touchdown in the fourth quarter and LaFleur thought the game was over, he went to Golden, hugged him, and started celebrating. Remember, a coach went to the player to celebrate, not the other way around.
If you remember the college football semifinal, Miami scored in the last minute and an assistant coach jumped into the head coach celebrating. He turned around and told him to get the heck out of here. For him, he knows he has a duty until the last minute.
You have noticed teams celebrate at the end and then forget to focus on the opponent when they return the ball. Miami’s head coach has an angry-bird face, but his discipline is good. Remember the few timeouts he took when the clock was about to expire.
LaFleur is clearly an offensive genius, but his baby face is too friendly for a head coach. Ben again gambled yesterday inside his own 20-yard line. He is not disciplined like Dan. I can see both as not good head coaches to take teams beyond championship games, especially if they are the main decision-makers.

Nobody helped the camera lady

Trevor Lawrence looks like moungili

I am going to have to watch that!

He probably just learned his lesson in that. Wisdom in experience.

LaFleur is not even a chocolate boy, he is butterscotch swirl.

Wow this locker speech is 100% a DC clone.

Mario Cristobal is the guy you picked to illustrate your point???

:laughing::laughing::laughing:

.

He made one of the ALL-TIME DUMBASS coaching decisions in the 2023 loss to Georgia Tech…. when he chose to hand the ball off to a RB rather than taking a knee to end the game.

.

And he did the SAME thing in 2018 at Oregon….
