Let's hear your 53 man

NFI - Mahogany

QB 3 - Goff, Hooker, Sudfeld
RB 4 - Monty, Gibbs, Vaki, Reynolds
TE 4 - LaPorta, Wright, Mitchell, Zylstra
WR 4 - ARSB, Jamo, Raymond, I Williams
OL 8 - Decker, Sewell, Ragnow, Glasgow, Zeitler, Manu, Sorsdal, Kayode

DL - 11 Hutch, Davenport, Reader, Alim, Paschal, Martin, Levi, Wingo, Houston, Betts, Agude
LB - 5 Anzalone, Jack, Barnes, Rodrigo, JRM
DB - 11 Davis, Arnold, Rakestraw, Branch, Kerby, Amik, Iffy, B Joseph, CJ Moore, Gilmore, Dorsey

ST - 3 Fox, Bates, Daly

**Edit changing mine, dropping DPJ and adding Sudfeld (with the PS emergency QB veto by the NFLPA). Didn’t know DPJ was a vested vet and would have his salary guaranteed by making the week 1 roster.

That’s a good take. Can’t argue with much at all.

I do think they keep Sudfeld on the 53. Ugh. In that case maybe Gilmore goes to the PS.

Two things why I don’t think he does is.

#1 if he does, his entire $1.2M salary is guaranteed
#2 I don’t think he gets signed to another teams 53 man, easy PS addition

Double Ugh, id rather Fromm be on the PS Vs. Suds.
Heck, if we get down to QB 3, we in trouble. I’d rather have a guy at 26 with some upside and potential than a complete dud that we invest time grooming.

Would need a bit of time to get mine up, but I really do think 3 Qb’s is a real possibility.

This is a difficult one for me, too. I’ve been firmly committed to only 2 QB for the past year, but am a little confused on this. It still seems like he’s QB2 to them.

I think the Fromm love by Dan was partly liking what he’d seen and partly trying to get him signed to someone’s roster. I’m going to go with my gut and just leave it Goff and Hooker.

People wont like it, but all signs to me point to them keeping 3 QBs imo

Hardest one is Ukwu vs Houston

I think houston might get traded for a X WR or something

Trade Bait: James Houston IV

I feel you on the Sudfeld dilemma, but Houston is solidly on the team, IMO. It’s more Ukwu vs Agude vs Betts, IMO.

If Hooker played decent, it would be a no brainer on only keeping 2 QB’s. Still, unless you think another team will want Sudfeld on their 53 man, I don’t see why you would keep him. If he does get signed, sign Fromm instead of Sudfeld to PS.

One thing that is clear is if Goff goes down, we are screwed. Either way, we’ll know in a few days.

Cominsky will be definitely be one of the IR returns. Mahogany will either be cut or start on Reserve NFI (exempt), doesn’t need to be IR’d.

I realize that the team would never think this way but my perspective is that if Goff goes down for an extended period of time we’re screwed anyways. The only shot would be that Hooker is a revelation. So why keep Suds?

I think they do realize that, even as they’ll hunker down and maximize whatever situation they encounter. Sudfeld and/or Fromm go to the PS.

I think Hesse makes it bc of the fullback flexibility

2 QB = Goff, Hooker
4 RB = Gibbs, Montgomery, Reynolds, Vaki
5 WR = St Brown, Williams, Raymond, I Williams, Peoples-Jones
4 TE = LaPorta, Wright, Zylstra, Mitchell
9 OL = Sewell, Decker, Ragnow, Glasgow, Zeitler, Awosika, Sorsdal, Manu, Skipper
24 Offense

5 Edge = Hutch, Davenport, Houston, Ukwu, Paschal
2 NT = Peko Reader, Martin
3 DT = McNeil, Levi, Wingo
5 LB = Campbell, Anzalone, Rodrigo, JRM, Barnes
6 CB = Davis, Arnold, Rakestraw, Robertson, Dorsey, Vildor
5 S = JKerb, Branch, B-Joseph, Iffy, Moore
26 Defense

3 ST = Bates, Fox, Daly

Headed to IR are Moseley and Cominsky.
PUP/NFI = Mahogany, Reader.
If Reader drops off PUP, Peko drops off the 53.
Since Reader came off PUP, I put him at NT and dropped Peko.

I keep seeing DPJ on everyone’s list, and it wouldn’t shock me if they went on a different direction.

I get the feel that he either isn’t working hard enough or just isn’t “getting it”. If either of those things is actually the case (especially the former), I could easily see him not making the roster, even if he is the best of the big-bodied guys.

Maybe. But they wouldn’t express it so fatalistically. If Jared goes down Dan isn’t locking himself in his bedroom and listening to The Smiths for a week straight. I might.

These 5 seem to be the only consistent on every list.

I’ve been predicting a Barnes trade. LOL.
