And all they talk about is player safety this and player safety that, well then let all 53 dress so they spread the reps out, especially special teams. Those 7 inactive guys could really help a team and prevent overuse injuries.

Exactly. You would also think a bunch of billionaires would hate the idea of paying players to stay home.
My boss hates when I ask to “leave early “ even though my 8 hour shift ended 4 hours ago.
