Undrafted by the Titans last minute cut, then signed to the Steelers practice squad.
Played for USC in 2025, NC state in 23 and 24. He was the KJCCC (community college conference) Defensive player of the year in 2022 with 50 tackles and 6 picks.

This probably more explains the Lions releasing Joe Bachie. They had to make room on the 53 man roster.

Fitzgerald, 23, went undrafted this offseason after playing collegiately at NC State and USC. He was signed to the Tennessee Titans, but was waived as part of the final NFL roster cuts in late August.

51 tackles and 5 picks last year at USC, first team all big ten… Looks like he’s a coverage guy only, run support is lack luster
