Allright, tea leaves time…
Yesterday and today, the Lions have signed Tackles who mostly played RT.
Totally irresponsible speculation on my part, but it’s possible we are down Decker and Penei this week. If Penei does play, I have a feeling that Penei will be moving to LT soon, and the Lions are looking for someone to take over at RT.
I hope I’m wrong on Decker, but I think it’s possible he is out for awhile.

I think so too… Again, his postgame comment about he is taking so much stuff for his shoulder than he doesn’t even how much his leg was hurt, that rang serious alarm bells.

Where did they come from? I thought that if you signed someone off of another teams PS, you had to sign them to your active roster.
Hubbard is also kinda small for an OT (6-4, 295) and has played some snaps as 6th OL/TE, like Skip. So if they use Skipper at OT, Hubbard could be the old Skipper role, if they plan on using that more (which they should).
Hubbard is a pretty good run blocker and was a horrible pass blocker last year with the Giants at LT.

I wonder with the oline injuries is it harder to zone run block? I think that would help gibbs more.
Yes, zone blocking needs lineman to work together… With the patchwork line they’re putting on the field, I can’t imagine it going well.

He played OT in college.
