I would suggest you hold this post until the trade deadline has passed. I trust Holmes to make what he feels is in the best interest of the team short term & long term.

Shouldnât have to wait until the deadline to make a move. There is nothing more to see. The lions arenât just going to generate a pass rush out of thin air. But the Chiefs are aggressive while the Lions are not. Probably one of the many reasons why KC has won multiple superbowls while the Lions havenât even played in one. Like I said⌠Lions are still at the kids table.

At this point we donât even know who is available. Well, we know Crosby is not available. The Raiders have made that pretty damn clear. The Bengals and Browns may have decided theyâd rather hang on to their edge players in order to keep their teams competitive. Hendrickson may have requested a trade before the season but that doesnât mean the Bengals had any intent to do so. The Browns might think they have a shot for that 3rd wildcard spot with Winston breathing some life into their offense. Is that sensible? Maybe not, but again we donât know what they are thinking.
