Lions better be on the phone right now

Well Brad, get it done.

Trying a 70 yard FG would give him a caffeine fueled rush too.

That second one after they froze him might have made it, too. That was some Justin Tucker shit.

Something tells me the Lions aren’t going to hand kicking duties over to a guy with this resume.

You can probably count on 1 hand how many guys can make two 64 yards FG’s in a row.
Regardless of his resume, he is now on the NFL’s radar.

Sure, but how does he do with the other 98% of the job?

I can see him on the practice squad. I don’t see them giving him the job

I honestly wondered how it would work. Someone is going to give him a shot. I would hope that the Lions give him a guarantee that if he is has a good season they would sign him.

His resume is practically a blank slate because field goal kicking is relatively new to him. He was a soccer player and a kickoff specialist.

Like I said earlier the guy kicked field goals before the game and during half time and I did not see him miss. Granted it’s without guys rushing but he looked good.

Sign him tomorrow and let him compete with Badgley. Could likely stash Badgley on the PS if he struggled.

To me it’s a no brainer, kicker is a major sore spot.

He only did kick offs in college. Not field goals. I would 10000% bring him in for some competition.

But even kick offs he was ALL SEC for kick offs alone.

But kickoffs now are a we bit different. Doubt a specialist is necessary.

I hear ya. BUT if he can show hes decent in FG to replace Badgley… he could be an alternative to Fox having to do Kick Offs.

If he can hit 50+ consistently, I don’t even care if he does kickoffs.

Sure. If he’s your kicker. The chance that he’s actually the solution is rather finite IMO.

I 100% agree. Just saying that on the day the guy hits two 64-yarders, of course we’re going to speculate here. And all of us being armchair GMs, demand he’s brought in immediately :joy:

On the plus side the Panther play the next two games at home so anyone can go watch him kick for just over $20.

Yup → even if he ends up as a developmental player for a year or 2. If he evolves into the Jack Fox of kickers…

end of the world wow GIF

Interesting note is that he beat out Cole Murphy for the job. Cole was considered “one of the better USFL kickers since signing with the Panthers in 2022.”

Also, he improved his kickoff averages each year in college. Topping out at…wait for it…64 yards last year.
