LMAO agreed. Most of ya’ll know I lived in Baltimore for 5-6 years……met my wife there when she was working as a 5th grade teacher for a charter school in the worst part of Baltimore. BALTIMORE SUCKS. Hate Baltimore. Surprisingly, safe to go to a game there. But don’t want to. Been to about 5 there. The fans are just loud and obnoxious. Like I won’t watch the baltimore lions game with my brother in law bc he is the kinda guy who jumps up clapping yelling “let’s go let’s go” for every frickon first down. Spare me.
It sucks but I try to look at the bright side. When a team travels to Ford Field, they know what to expect and they practice/plan for it. Teams at home are not used to preparing for noise like it is an away game. The Chiefs will be ready, and the Rams spend many home games with a split crowd. We have a good chance of catching the other teams off guard. They will be “aware,” but they won’t be completely prepared for the reality (IMO).
Now that I look at the stadiums they chose, I am conflicted about Philly. I literally will not go there as an opposing fan…period. But if there are enough of us there, does it suddenly make it “okay?” Maybe they are fat and happy after winning the Super Bowl?
I honestly see some really bad altercations in our future. The complete opposite of the classy Chiefs fans at Arrowhead.
I have a friend thats a Philly fan, lives in the NJ side of Philly. He came to Ford Field the last time the Eagles were in town.
He was worried about wearing his Philly gear to the game. “What you can wear the opposing teams gear?? In philly you would be lucky to make it threw the game with out a beer getting poured on you”
I lived in south PA (York County) for 35 years but worked all over Baltimore area (Columbia, Elkridge, White Marsh, BelAir, and Towson). I never enjoyed going down to the Inner Harbor, my secretaries husband got shot going down to the Inner Harbor one night in his car. The Inner harbor and around the stadiums are not too bad but man go a few blocks north or east (towards Hopkins) and it sucks!!
Oh yeah 100%. I should have been more clear. Its not like philly where ur gonna get jumped for wearing lions gear but from neighborhood perspective…no thanks…
