Lions Depth Chart going into FA (Massive Holes)

They really dont need a big splash.

It would be nice. But the holes they have are hard to find in FA, because good ones arnt available unless they are top dollar. Or its older damaged goods.

CB, DE, IOL/OT

They will find a Lopez/ Maddox type player. Decent above average. But not world beaters. Or a name everyone knows.

Greenard, somethings wrong with him.

75% of snaps in 2025

Only 3 sacks and 24 pressures. For 2 years $24aav yikes

I mean they could do that, but i don’t think that moves needle much.

Maybe he was playing hurt? Or aligned differently? He was basically the opposite of that in 2024.

I have no idea. Defensively the vikings had the same scheme.

Sounds like he got injured week 10

But still first 9 weeks 8 games. 87% if snaps. Only 2 sacks. 16 pressures.

The Bears need a center now but tell me how we have so many more holes in comparison to the other teams in the division let alone the league

I’m not trying to put the cart before the horse but it’s a very real possibility the Lions win the division by default but might not be a real contender that makes sense.

You dig into the other teams rosters, draft picks ,free agents, cap space and it’s kinda ugly for everyone

Oh shit. That’s wild.

Actually it kind of sucks because they’ll be shopping in the same stores as us.

They were already hard up for cap space and a high end FA retiring one year in can’t help that out

No, but I suspect we aren’t looking at the most expensive options, they’ll be able to afford those. I don’t think they’ll go after someone like Linderbaum or anything.

Don’t give Holmes any ideas. He might sign Moseley and Davenport again.

he got injured, and was playing hurt most of the year.

Dallas Turner progressed well and they still got AVG too

prolly can afford to lose him.

Eh, sort of. Of his 8 sacks 2.5 were coverage sacks, 2.5 were unblocked, and one was when a tackle didn’t hear the snap and was late to move (all according to Bill Barnwell). He has a 4% quick pressure rate for the year, which was 38th in the league. Greenard’s was 8.4%, which was 4th in the league.
