Lions expected to re-sign Craig Reynolds

For your first comment, I don’t see why you are comparing Kalel Mullings to Derrick Henry. Henry is much bigger. I like Mullings, but he is more Hassan Haskins than Derrick Henry.

For the other comments, are you ok? I don’t know how we went from a discussion on rb’s, to ST’s, then a jump to society collapsing.

I saw that thread, looks like it happened sometime overnight. Hopefully Nate can help there. I meant your first comment in this thread. You said you were upset the Lions signed Reynolds, because you are really hoping for Mullings, and that you think Mullings is the next Derrick Henry. Unless I’ve got something wrong somewhere…

I don’t think signing Reynolds means he’s a lock. If the draft falls where a talented RB is available at spot where their assessment of him was much higher, Brad will take him. On top of that, they’ll bring in a handful of UDFAs. Truth is, Reynolds and Vaki will both have to fight to make the roster. They’re not so far from being on the bubble that they can rest easy.

I did see that game, and the OSU game. Mullings carried the Michigan offense for most of the year. God knows they couldn’t complete a forward pass, running was all they had.

I get wanting him as a Lion, we all have our guys we are partial too. I just don’t see the comparison to Derrick Henry.

Kalel is 6’1, 227lbs. Don’t know speed since he didn’t run the 40.
Henry is 6’3, 247lbs, 4.54 speed. 2 inches taller and 20lbs heavier.

I still think Kalel matches closer to Hassan Haskins. Haskins is 6’1, 228. He also did not run the 40. Sound familiar? Both have similar running styles, and both carried the load for Michigan’s offense.

Watch the Grant Stuard video from yesterday. He talks about this a bit. It’s known around the league that the Lions will let the best players play, be it a game, a down or a situation, they’re going to let the talent do what the talent does.

But they didn’t draft Reynolds?

True, they are patient with their guys. If Brad and the team think enough of them to draft them, Dan and the crew will pour everything into their development.

Actually quite a few people hit above .1000

I understand where you are coming from but I would nuance this a little. He hasn’t been on the field but he has been (hopefully) developing over the last couple of years. He is a big body that is 25 and comes from Western Kentucky. So I expected a year or two of seasoning for him. He was a project from the start.

Now he has had a couple of years like Levi O did. He will have every opportunity to show he has developed into a rotational piece or he will be on the roster bubble.

He and Sorsdal are kinda in the same boat. I don’t think they survive the year if they do not show value this year.

It’s a joke. You meant to say no one hits 1.000. Everyone employed should hit over 0.1000.
I asked earlier if you are ok. I don’t think you are man. You’ve got some serious emotions taking over. Go find a way to destress, get a hot shower in and start fresh.

Yeah, basically you said no one hits on 10% of their picks.

Agreed. I felt very much the same way about Levi O not long ago. It worked out last year for him. Now I hope BroMart can do the same thing. If not… well there are numerous corpses littering the road to NFL respectability.

You realize when the mods check the board and see the guy they just suspended is back with a new handle of the same name you are gonna get suspended again, right?

@Davicus is not a glory boy. This is what bothers me, guys who are new around here flapping their jaws and making inaccurate assumptions about long standing members of this forum. There are OG’s who have been on here for over 20 years. You have multiple accounts in less then a year.

You probably don’t realize how dumb it sounds saying you are the bigger diehard fan of any fan or you want to win more then Holmes.

Ways to not be taken seriously:

  1. Insult OG’s.
  2. Assert you are unique and special.
  3. Get account suspended and create exact same tag with a numeral on the end. The mods will never figure it out!
