Noticed this wasnt updated since Pre-FA.

Fantastic!
With the frantic first days of free agency behind us, Iâm a little surprised by both Agude and Galvin not being tendered. I thought they both were valued by the team.
Only other surprise is that now ZaâDarius Smith is on that list. Stunner.
Agude didnt get elevated much last season and Galvin was hurt. So maybe that played a roll. But its still early. They have time.
And there has been no official report of Nowaske and Neise being tendered, other than OTC.
As for Smith. He was a $11m hit this year if we kept him. On the FA market i dont think he gets more than $6. So cut for free (0 dead cap) Then let him test the market. And if wants to come back he can.
I think it was a mutual understanding.
RFA/ERFA status reported by Birkette yesterdayâŚ
I edited the list above to reflect their status (non-tendered) while leaving their future team space open. Hopefully itâs obvious to everyone that looks at it that theyâre officially free agents.
There we go. Trusted sources. Weird he didnt mention Pittman was extended tho.
But i imagine they didnt offer ERFA tenders because they didnt like what they saw. No point to bring a body in just to cut in a few weeks.
And i highly doubt they will be offered anything anyway.
Yeah, just didnât see enough.
I think maybe we fans were higher on Agude than the team was.
On the RFA side, I think their not tendering them doesnât mean they donât want Awosika and Zylstra back, it just means they want them back at a lower salary.
Yea Agude got passed over by Mohammad, Occonnor, Thomas, Adams, even Houston got more snaps. He would have gotten playing time if they liked what they saw.
As for Zylstra and Awosika, i dont think there was a market for them to justifying RFA tenders.
Zylatra 3/4th TE. Not worth it.
Awosika MIGHT have been tendered if Mahagony didnt turn out to be good. But he definitely held his own at the end of the season and beat him out on the depth chart in the playoffs.
I think the Lions want both of them back if they can for cheap. But they are probably testing the market first
