I think so much of what we need to do is depth related.

I’d prioritize guys like Barnes, Zeitler, Patrick, Levi, and Craig.

I’m fine with losing Davis, Cominsky, Iffy, and others.

Anyone else if the price is right.

Awesome! Though I don’t think UDFA (undrafted free agent) is the term you’re wanting to use. :grinning:

Right, UFA not UDFA

But it would be a pretty solid UDFA class. :joy:

Fixed, obviously didn’t sleep well.

A lot of the potential guys to bring back have injury concerns. Barnes after knee surgery? Iffy always hurt. Levi has had serious back surgery. Those 3 all have talent but I would not overpay.

Yep, price has to be right for all 3. I’d be fine with moving on from each of them.

You slept? I have a fairly short priority list here but would just like to add that when I die I want 6 Detroit Lions as paw bearers so they can let me down one last time.

Maybe make it a wiki to track where they go.

It is going to be interesting who the Lions decide to keep and who they say goodbye to. I know we all have our own lists, but that doesn’t take away from what the Lions do this offseason.

Davis
Barnes
Levi
Patrick if reasonable though he was pulling a Reynolds playoff game yesterday IMO….

Draft OG, CB, WR in the first few rounds…

Davis and Zeitler can come back on one year deals.

I’d like to bring Tim Patrick back too.

Nobody else is good enough to need to keep.

But…priority #1 this offseason is extending Hutch, Kerby, and Jamo.

I love these guys. But CD3 could easily been necessary for AGs defense. If the new coordinator wants to play more zone/balanced coverage then the need for CD or even Barnes diminishes.

Davis, Barnes, Zeitler, Patrick, Levi, Iffy

Don’t overpay, incentive-based deals.

I was on the re-sign Levi and depth guys but now I am all in on re-signing Carlton Davis.

Carlton Davis, Arnold, Amik Robertson and Rakestraw is a legit group. An elite group.

Zeitler is a credible starting ROG and he should be affordable.

Everyone else is depth. Levi, Iffy, Barnes, Skipper, Tim Patrick, etc. are important but replaceable.

Of that list Levi us #1 as Alim, Reader, Levi and Wingo is a credible/elite group too.

This is a bit of overkill seeing as Amin’s pretty Ms at nickel. Would rather see what take straw has to offer there. Way cheaper too.

Levi came through in the clutch this season filling in for McNeil going down. And was great to keep the guys fresh.

Seems like you’re undervaluing him. Especially since he won’t cost the same premium cost CD3
