Lions 'have to assume we don't have' rookie OL Christian Mahogany as he

total millen move

I think you got it.
Looks like he has dealt with mental health before - here is a snippet from an interview while at Boston College:
Q. You said that you had some of those dark days going through the injury and had to call different people, including Coach. Leaning on your faith, leaning on your team just going into that and how you got out of that with mental health being such an important part of what weā€™re focusing on today?

CHRISTIAN MAHOGANY: Me personally Iā€™ve never been hurt. Iā€™ve never missed a football game for anything that I can control. I hate it. I wonā€™t miss for a broken finger, broken toe, whatever. Whatever I can do, Iā€™m going to be on the field.

Mentally it was draining. I canā€™t lie to you. I wanted to be out there. I wanted to do everything I can. So in that process mental health is a serious thing. I didnā€™t know until you know, so if you have to, you have to talk to people. You have to be able to take that step and get over it eventually, but thereā€™s outlets. We have a great support staff at Boston College. Coach Hafley, I can call him whenever I want.

I know I can call Donovan. I know I can call Emmett. I know I can call Coach Tusz, Coach Applebaum, any of our coaches, and they will answer any questions I have.

If you are dealing with mental health, it is a serious topic, and you should talk to people.

This is probably why he dropped. Itā€™s doubtful whether it will be a quick fix.

Iā€™ve built with Mahogany before. You have to truss the process.

Yep. I could tell by how they were talking. I deal with it regularly.

And no, it isnā€™t a quick fix.

If true, that is a big deal. I didnā€™t follow that closely but it looked like Stetson Bennet the Rams QB Draft Pick went through the same thing a year ago.

Over the span of this thread I have learned to believe that.

If this conjecture is accurate, it would explain the circumstances of his absence better than mono. It would explain his drop when all teams were privy to intimate details of his life.

Heā€™s on a team that stresses and supports mental health, so heā€™ll have easy access to help. First things first.

Turns out he wasnā€™t such a steal after all.

Maybe heā€™s still upset Brad called him a dirtbag in public ?

Praying for this young man to find peace & clarity

All youā€™d wanting to cut Kayode should take that back now huh?
